Placement Testing All year round, Monday to Thursday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., you may drop in for a placement test at 3 Bécsi Street, on the 4^th floor. From Déak Ferenc Square, take the first street toards the Danube. We are on the block between Servita Square and the Kempinski Hotel. The door is unlocked; you need not ring. If by chance it is not open, punch in the number 14 on the buzzer system. Naturally, the placement test is free. 

The placement test has two aims:

1.              students come to realize their their level of language knowledge, as well as the strong and not-so-strong points of their language capability

2.              an appropriate group can be found for students based on these results In the interests of simplifying the application process, whatever the language, please request a placement test over email. (dover@dover.hu)

That way, you can come in for registration with your level already evaluated. Of course, an oral examination may follow. We cannot recommend strongly enough that you indicate any special goals you may have in studying your chosen language, what skills you wish to develop.

If you desperately need to pass a written or oral language exam, do inform us without fail, since in certain cases (for example, if you are just preparing for an oral exam), a speaking evaluation is crucial. We ask that you send back your placement test over email.

Do fill it out on you own. Please note how long it takes you to complete the test and record the length of time (type it in) along with your phone number. Send back the test completed to the best of your ability. You will be informed of the result within 3 days at the latest by phone or by email. You will receive other information including study opportunities. 

In the assessment of different language skills, the entrance exam incorporates the same testing aspects and processes as a language exam.
